Welcome to Camp Gan Israel! A part of the largest and fastest growing network of Jewish day camps in the world. OUR MISSION
The mission of CGI is to instill Jewish values in children of all Jewish backgrounds and all levels of observance. We aim to make Judaism accessible, fun and comfortable for everyone.
CULTURE
CGI Ballantyne campers are imbued with a deep sense of pride in their Jewish heritage and a love for the land of Israel. Weekly Judaic themes are taught through exciting activities, stories, songs, games and contests, which are part of the unique Gan Israel experience. Combined with group discussions and educational programs, these events bring to life the beauty and values of our tradition.
ACTIVITIES
Our weekly program is enhanced with activities, fun shops , karate, jewelry making, carnivals, dress-up days, color war, hiking, bunk competition, Shabbat parties, Challah baking, and .. oh... so much more.
TRIPS
Our trips and outings are know for their originality and excitement for every age. Our Junior campers leave camp three days a week. Senior Campers & CGI Extreme will have trips EVERY day. Each trip is researched and planned to ensure that your child has the best experience possible.
LUNCH AND SNACKS
Lunch and all snacks and drinks are included in camp tuition. Every day a hot, homemade and nutritious lunch is served. Some of our past campers have told us that lunch is their favorite part of the day!
